Lisa knows firsthand how tissue donation changes lives. She is a 58-year-old retired physical education teacher of 32 years. Her donor’s gift provided her with a better quality of life, especially in her fitness journey.

She injured her knee and tore her ACL and two menisci after falling off a retaining wall in the dark at a campground that wasn’t well-lit. She needed a tissue graft to repair her knee injury.

She is still recovering from her ❤️‍🩹 surgery and is walking with a brace but looks forward to better days. She is so incredibly grateful she may be able to return to being her fun active self again.
