I had a long-standing knee injury that could not be healed, and I was offered surgery by my consultant that he explained could only be done with a donor allograft. After he explained this to me, the truth dawned that I would have the privilege of accepting a kind and very generous donation from a family or person who had passed. I’ve just had my operation, and I am at the beginning of my ACL Replacement recovery. I just want to thank and send my utmost gratitude to the person who gifted me this and to the family who loved this person dearly.
