In October 2022 I had a flat foot reconstruction, after this surgery, I was in terrible pain. I went to see another specialist, they informed me I had been walking on a broken ankle for 6+ months after my first surgery. My bone never healed! I was then taken into surgery in July 2023, when they tried to remove surgical implants that were placed in my ankle they noticed my bone was squishy. With no way to repair it, they received a donor bone and implanted it to form my ankle. This donor bone has helped me so much! Before this second surgery, I couldn’t hardly walk! Now I am getting back to work and can walk with minimal pain. Thank you, donor!
