I am a 56-year-old woman who before my ACL injury was an avid hiker who would hike the Guadalupe Mountains in Texas and mountains in New Mexico. I also did Zumba, Pilates, ran 5ks and lived a very active life. I incurred my ACL/Meniscus injury falling off a small step ladder hanging Halloween decorations on October 15, 2025. I am forever grateful for my tissue donation, to the donor and the donor’s family, and for the ability to resume a normal life.
