My sweet son,

I cannot tell you how much I miss you or how much I love you. Words cannot express the feelings I have. I wish I could hold you again and hear your laughter. I miss you being silly and kidding around. I miss our talks until 1:00 am and me begging you to get some sleep before school. I held you till the very end and I will hold you in my heart forever, until I can hold you in my arms again. You will always be my baby boy, forced and always.

To my loving husband I’m so proud of you for being a donor. Through years you suffered daily with health problems, years of surgeries and you always said if I could help people not suffer like me I would. Well babe you did that you are saving lives and helping people live again.

Maliyah A. Young was just 15 years old when she passed away suddenly and Very unexpectedly May 27th 2020. A day that would forever change our lives. Maliyah was an avid softball player, member of her school band, church choir and involved in Autism Speaks Awareness! In such a short time she touched MANY peoples lives with not only her acts of kindness but her unforgettable smile.

As a family we asked ourselves what Maliyah would have wanted? We all agreed she would have wanted to become a donor and help as many people as possible. She was such a blessing to our lives and will forever be missed. Our hearts will never be the same but we have great comfort in knowing Maliyah was able to bless many others lives since her passing. We love and miss you Maliyah

Trevor was a kind, loving, talented, caring 20 year old with a gentle old soul. We lost him on December 11, 2019. He loved his family & friends and was always ready to help out or just listen, a stranger in need quickly became a friend. He was an awesome drummer who co-wrote, mixed, & recorded music with his band family. He loved nature, animals, star gazing, liked fixing his car, and learning new things. He made great banana bread and fried egg sandwiches. He would be happy to know that he had a chance to help others have a better quality of life. Trevor is forever loved & missed, we all treasure the time we were blessed with him. Always loved by mom, dad, sister, grandmas, family, and friends.

Evan was a kind, funny, smart sixteen-year-old who gave the ultimate gift of organ, eye, and tissue donation on September 23rd, 2019. He loved music, cars, and aviation. He will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends.

Mary passed at 69 years old due to a hospital error. But she was ready to go be with the love of her life, John. Upon her passing I received a phone call about my mom being a donor, and they asked me if I would donate her eyes. And I agreed. Now someone can see because of OUR decision. I miss my mom so much. She was an amazing person and she will forever be in my heart. I love and miss you Mom!

We lost our 24 year old son on September 23, 2019 and he had said and designated on his drivers license to be an organ and tissue donor. He was always one to help those who needed help, even if he didn’t know them. If he heard someone needed help with something, he was there. As much as it hurt and still hurts to have lost him, it gives us comfort in knowing that his donation will help. I love you Gabe!

Seth passed away in a car accident at the age of 16. He was an avid athlete and loved football, his friends and his faithful dog Maggie. Seth was always willing to help others, so it came as no surprise when he got his driver’s license at 16, and registered as an organ, eye and tissue donor. We were pleased to honor his decision to help others. Seth was a tissue donor and his final gift changed the lives of over 100 people; helping severe burn victims heal, athletes run again and restoring mobility to those unable to walk without excruciating pain. Way to go Seth!
