Because of this tissue donation, my son was able to receive the knee repair he desperately needed. He first injured his knee in 7th-grade football and has struggled with repeated dislocations and significant pain since.

He is now a high school senior, active in rodeo as a team roper and steer wrestler, and has been offered several college rodeo scholarships. This surgery has given him the chance to pursue the dreams he has worked for his entire life—dreams that would not have been possible without this generosity in such a difficult time.
